Innovative Tools for Pain Relief
Innovative Tools for Pain ReliefMarch 9th, 2018 by Cindy Perlin
While pharmaceutical companies have been coming up empty handed in terms of finding a safe and effective treatment for chronic pain, many other scientists and inventors have been developing some very useful, non-pharmacological tools for pain relief. What follows is a brief summary of some of these remarkable innovations.
VoxxLife Socks and Insoles
Who would ever think that a pair of socks or an insole could improve balance, stability and strength and relieve pain? But, according to independent testing and tons of testimonials, VoxxLife socks and insoles do all of that. Six years in development, its inventors studied decades of research on brainstem functionality and the peripheral nervous system. VOXX Human Performance Technology (HPT) is a proprietary tech pattern on the bottom of the socks and on insoles that touches neuropoints on the ball of the foot, using peripheral nerve pathways to create “homeostasis” or equilibrium in the mid brain. The technology for nCap patches was accidentally discovered by inventor Rhett Spencer. He was working on nanotechnology for an antenna that would work underground or underwater when he had a motorcycle accident and broke six ribs. Concerned about the hospital’s recommendation to take 20 oxycodone a day to manage his pain, he all of a sudden had the urge to place one of his antennas on his chest. Miraculously, his pain went away. Inspired by that experience, Rhett went on to develop the nCap patches—a drug-free, wearable, patented technology device proven to fight chronic pain. Oska Pulse PEMF Device
he Oska Pulse is an innovative and very portable device that uses pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF) to treat pain and edema with no adverse effects.
When cells are injured or have degenerated, they lose their electrical potential and are no longer able to exchange ions, causing inflammation and pain. Oska Pulse uses optimized PEMF to restore the electrical potential cells need to receive nutrients and oxygen, which stimulates cellular regeneration–relieving pain, and activating the body’s natural recovery process.
This technology has been in use for over 60 years and a significant body of research documenting its therapeutic effects exists. When a pulsing electromagnetic field comes near living tissue, that field penetrates unobstructed through tissue and generates electrical currents within. There is no need for wires or electrodes and no physical contact between the magnet and the body is necessary. Because there is no current flowing into the body, there is no associated pain with PEMF.
Studies of PEMF technology have shown that it accelerates bone repair and reduces pain from inflammation and surgical incisions. PEMF promotes tissue repair by increasing the availability of nitric oxide, which reduces inflammation, relaxes vascular smooth muscles and increases blood vessel formation. This helps to provide the cells with much needed nutrients and oxygen, resulting in improved tissue repair. Learn more here
emWave(R) technology is an innovative approach to reducing stress and improving wellness based on learning to use your breath to change your heart rhythm pattern. This allows us to create coherence, a scientifically measurable state characterized by increased order and harmony in our psychological and physiological processes. Abnormal heart rhythm patterns have been found in many chronic illnesses including fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions. This device can help you correct that. Learn more here
