My goal is to teach you as many ways of reducing pain as possible…to help you enjoy life to its’ fullest!
A NYS Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D.) and NYS Licensed Board Certified Clinical Specialist Psychiatric Nurse (ANCC), Certified in Pain Management (DAAPM) (DAIPM), BCIA Board Certified both in Neurofeedback (BCN) and in Biofeedback (BCB), Certified in Stress Management Education, and Certified in the use of Hypnosis and Teaching Self Hypnosis, I combine four decades of education, training and experience to create an individualized, dynamic, interactive and integrative approach to addressing Chronic Pain and Stress-Related Disorders. Working with adults and children, I combine the above approaches with cognitive and behavioral strategies, relaxation breathing and imagery techniques, meditation, exercise, and nutrition, to address the pain itself, and, when appropriate, the underlying cause of pain.
Chronic Pain often involves Chronic Back Pain, Neck Pain, Fibromyalgia, IBS, Tension Headaches, Migraine Headaches, Arthritis, TBI/Post Concussion Syndrome, Menstrual Pain, TMJ, Raynaud’s Disease, PTSD, Sleep Disturbance/Insomnia, and many more. Chronic Pain can trigger Depression and Anxiety, which in turn often make pain more intense.
