Dr. Edwards offers compassionate and self-empowering care for those who are dealing with chronic pain, illness, PTSD, anxiety, recovery, trauma, and terminal illness. Utilizing neurofeedback, biofeedback, mindfulness, hypnotherapy, meditation training and cognitive methods for reducing autonomic nervous system reactivity, Dr. Edwards helps people to heal and reduce the impact of chronic conditions on their lives and well-being. He also works with family members and caretakers of people dealing with chronic pain and illness to help them maintain their resilience, compassion and loving kindness in the face of the challenges they encounter.
Dr. Edwards has been in private practice for over 30 years. He is board certified in neurofeedback and has been on the faculty of New York Medical College since 1998. He is a licensed psychotherapist and certified hypnotherapist. In addition to his extensive training in western psychological mind/body modalities, he has trained for over 45 years in meditative disciplines, including having spent years training as a monk in India. He offers the profound wisdom and skill he has developed over decades of professional development to all who seek his assistance.
