Sally K. Norton
I am a Cornell University educated nutritionist, dietary consultant, and lifestyle coach. I work with people struggling with unexplained joint pain, muscle pain, inflammation, fatigue, and brain function problems (e.g. poor sleep, poor concentration, and brain fog).
I have unique expertise in the link between dietary oxalates and mysterious health problems. If you eat nuts, potatoes, sweet potatoes, spinach, swiss chard, beets, chocolate, spicy foods, or tea you may be at risk for pain caused by oxalate toxicity.) While I focus on support for low-oxalate eating to resolve pain and related problems, I also work with clients who have a variety of other nutritional challenges and health concerns.
Consulting with me, you’ll get personalized professional advice, education, and guidance, based on your personal situation, history, nutritional needs, and health goals.
Individual diet and health consultations are via Skype, FaceTime, phone, and in-person (Richmond, Virginia) by appointment only. Click here to find out about scheduling an appointment:
My own remarkable return to health inspired me to specialize in oxalate and therapeutic avoidance and the subsequent removal from the body. I have published two articles on this topic, in Well-Being Journal (July/August 2015) and in the Journal of Evolution and Health (2018, Vol 2, Issue 3).
There are certain things that I cannot help with such as diagnosing diseases, interpreting genetic tests, or prescribing medications.
