Steve Schechter, N.P., H.H.P., is a nationally renowned and licensed Holistic Health Practitioner and Naturopath. He completed the pre-medicine program and graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan with majors in both Clinical Psychology and Comparative Religious Mysticism.
He wrote the best-selling book Fighting Radiation and Chemical Pollutants with Foods, Herbs and Vitamins—Documented Natural Remedies That Boost Immunity & Detoxify, plus a book on fat loss and training manuals for health therapists. Both he and this book are listed in Who Is Who In Service To The Earth. Steve has been a practicing Naturopath and has taught clinical nutrition, clinical herbology, aromatherapy, professional massage therapies, and other natural therapies since 1969.
Steve has given featured presentations on nutrition and herbology each of the last eight years at the three largest health industry trade conventions. He has lectured at four major Universities and has founded and directed a state-approved vocational college of natural healing. Steve practices in Encinitas and is the Founder - Director of Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy, Inc. (NHI).
