    Life can be tough on our bodies, especially our feet. And the condition of our feet affects the way the rest of our body feels and our overall health. Overuse, injuries, the wrong footwear and many other factors can damage our feet. Foot issues can cause knee pain, hip pain, back pain, neck pain, widespread pain and stress.

    As a former ballet dancer who has undergone bilateral foot surgeries and a lifelong city-dweller, I understand firsthand how vital proper foot care is to overall health and well-being. My personal journey, combined with my professional experience in a foot surgeon’s office and my years as a yoga teacher, has deepened my commitment to health and wellness. Today, I bring all of these experiences together as a skilled licensed manual therapist and holistic movement practitioner, certified in multiple modalities, to offer compassionate and expert care.

    I've helped hundreds of people with chronic foot pain, anxiety, fatigue, digestive issues, stiff or chronically dehydrated fascial tissue, muscular pain and weakness, flat or stiff high-arched feet, bunions, heel pain, forefoot neuromas, plantar fasciitis, sub-optimal gait patterns and more to restore their mind-body connection and overall approach to wellness via skilled manual therapy, suggested footwear, self-care protocols, and support for optimzing ongoing daily habits.

    Some Methods I Incorporate To Help You Feel Better:  

    • Yamuna Foot Fitness™: Strengthen your feet and you will strengthen your body with simple, proactive tools that can help you alleviate pain or prevent it. Yamuna Foot Fitness can prevent or alleviate common foot problems such as bunions, plantar fasciitis, Morton’s neuromas, hammertoes, calcification, and arthritis.These foot exercises restore range of motion in all the joints of the feet. Using special props called foot wakers or the more advanced foot savers, Yamuna Foot Fitness restores healthy foot function by creating balance, flexibility, improving circulation, strength, and proper gait (walking patterns).

Using specialized rubber balls to stimulate the return of fluid to your connective tissue, I'll show you how to rehydrate the fascia while quieting the nervous system and heightening body sense.     • Reiki: A relaxation technique originating from Japan that promotes healing and stress reduction. A warm, soothing energy flows from the practitioner's hands and into the body to release tension and induce relaxation. Sessions of 30 to 90 minutes offer you an opportunity to return to balance.
    • Reflexology: As a nationally certified reflexologist, I apply pressure to specific parts of the foot and hand. The practice of reflexology is known to heal different parts of the body. The focus is on how your body’s nervous system is all connected. The activation of certain areas of your feet can alleviate a range of health issues such chronic pain, anxiety and sleep issues.
