A Winnetka Chiropractor, Dr. Kim Martin D.C,F.A.S.A., B.C.I.M, C.M.P, C.G.P, C.C.I.P Dr. Martin has been in private practice since 1998, proudly serving as a Chiropractor in Winnetka, Illinois and looks forward to supplying the healing power of Functional Medicine with the North Shore community.
Dr. Martin D.C. pursued her undergraduate studies at Park University in Parkville, MO where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and graduated Cum Laude. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C) Degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO. She is board certified in Integrative Medicine as well as Peripheral Neuropathy. She has been certified in Acupuncture since 1987 from the Acupuncture Society of America. She has completed more than 300 hours of postgraduate training in spinal correction. Currently, Dr. Martin is working on 4 levels of higher education MD, Nutrition, Neurology and Functional Medicine.
Dr. Martin is trained in low force techniques, Acupuncture, Brain Based Therapy using Neuro Feedback, and is also a certified Gluten Practitioner. Her Focus is Genetic testing and Anti-Aging through proper analysis of your genetic snps.
She is also writing a book titled "Issues in the Tissues, A Functional Medicine Approach to your health". Dr. Martin believes strongly in the quote “You cannot poison your body back to Health” and "If your body is going out more than you are, then you need to come see me."
