Dr. Patricia Frye graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and is trained in pediatrics, anesthesiology, lifestyle, and obesity medicine. She is board certified in pediatric and lifestyle medicine, and professionally certified in Cannabis Science and Medicine by the University of Vermont School of Medicine. She has evaluated and treated thousands of patients with chronic pain conditions and is licensed in California, Washington DC, Georgia, Maryland, New Mexico, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. Educational consultations are available for those living outside of those states where Dr. Frye is licensed to practice medicine.
Patients can learn to use mind-body work like meditation and breath work; and incorporate FDA-recognized therapeutics such as Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy. Dr. Frye utilizes Food as Medicine and offers guidance on evidence-based methods of utilizing dietary changes to reduce inflammation, anxiety, depression, and pain and improve overall health and wellbeing.

In addition to her practice, Dr. Frye is an adjunct associate professor at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in Medical Cannabis Science & Therapeutics and serves on the board of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians, a 20-year-old organization dedicated to educating physicians and establishing a standard of care for providers who recommend medical cannabis.
